Originally from Golden Bay, Allister got his start building boats in his early twenties. The projects kept getting bigger and better, and the work moved from hulls to houses.
What carried across was the habit of building things that have to work in the real world. He has an eye for design with function, and more than 20 years of doing it around Nelson.
The key to building the business has been listening to what you want, then saying plainly what it will take to get there.
As long as there is clear communication, and clear direction, my team and I can pretty much build anything you want. You should enjoy your home.
